Reckoning October 8th 2011 Sullivan Hall

Reckoning

This is the first time I saw this band.  They really killed it!  The lead singer has a great voice which always helps.  They really got into their jams and started with “Feel like a Stranger.”  The jam must have gone on for fifteen minutes.  I thought that was a sweet start and knew Id be in for a good night.  They are definitely not a commercial band with that kind of start.

I saw that they played both Grateful Dead Songs and Phish songs.  Unfortunately, I only heard them play one Phish song.  But, it was a hell of a jam..St Stephen>Not Fade Away>Possum!  One hell of a trio.  Ive certainly never heard Dead>Phish.

The crowd really helped it as they were there to dance.  Im not a huge fan of Sullivan Hall..a bit of a  narrow setup..but a good crowd always helps.
